Concluding weeks of concern over the sudden and unexplained absence of Biobe, we have learned that he is now in psychiatric custody at the Cook County Correctional Facility. Preliminary reports are certainly not good. He is suffering the traumatic effects as a result of a serious head injury. At this point, we can only assume this injury caused the extreme confusion he was suffering during his encounter with the police. He is experiencing significant memory loss, unable to recognize even those closest to him, cannot respond to his own name, and needs your help today!
We are raising emergency funds to assure he receives the quality medical care and legal representation he desperately needs.

Due to his present mental condition,
it is in his best medical interest to maintain consistency and simplicity
with the people visiting him in order to
“Bring Biobe Back”.

We were able visit with Biobe recently.
He is still not responding to his name, and did not even recognize us from our initial visit during the prior week.
He is however, more conversational,
and seemed more accepting of the situation of
his memory loss.
So far as we have seen, he has had two
moments of clarity accessing his memory.
Once while we were chanting his Ganesh mantras for him,
he clearly said “Lakshmi”.
The second while he was being told a story/memory about himself, he asked about a person related to that event.
Both names he accessed from his memory, not based on anything we said to him, a good sign that his memory is in there, those neurons just need to start firing!

Medically we are still unsure what we are dealing with.
We have retained a lawyer who has requested the medical records so we might get more details.

also, what we need right now most of all is funds.
