Tarot Arista by J. M. Simon (1964)
This iconic deck created by J. M. Simon was first published in France by B. P. Grimaud in 1964 and is out of print. The deck features illustrations from the Tarot of Marseilles, presented in smaller black-and-white line images. Accompanying these images are comments providing insights for both direct and reversed readings, as well as information about astrological signs and days of the week.
The "Dans la vie" headlines offer a broader interpretation of each card, while the "Dans l'immediat" headlines focus on immediate influences for the questioner. Each card displays its title in French at the top, with Roman numerals on the left and Arabic numerals on the right. Throughout the border of the cards, you'll find titles, numbers, and symbols.
The deck is complete with 78 cards in excellent condition plus the original booklet written in French. The box has slight wear but is in excellent condition for a deck published six decades ago.
